Unpopular Opinion: I don’t understand why people are so up in arms against e-books

Of course I love holding a book in my hands and turning the pages and all that deliciously nerdy stuff.

But e-books are cheaper and more eco-friendly which is really great.

JUST FUCKING READ, EVERYONE.

Doesn’t matter how you do it.

How I feel exactly.

I don’t care if my book is a paperback, a hardback, an e-book, written on TP, or carved into wood. Reading is the important part!

amen to both of the above comments

I’ve had the Kindle app installed in my phone for less than a year. Since then, I’ve purchased probably over $250 in books. I have never spent anything close to that for leisure-reading books in a single year.

And while I feel for the small brick-and-mortar stores that will likely close due to the big chains taking over and the popularity of e-books, the benefits far outweigh the negatives.
