3:17 -3:33 - I have no words. Actually, I have a lot of words. A lot of the 4-letter variety.

My 11-year-old daughter watched this with me, and her jaw was nearly on the ground the entire time. She started rattling off black historical figures - Jesse Owens, Harriett Tubman, George Washington Carver. She’s 11.

What excuse does any person have to be so fucking ignorant? These people are in college, for Christsake.

Oh boy. Let’s just say this. It is never OK for White people (or anyone) to don blackface for whatever reason. No, no, no, no and no. Trying to expose the ignorance of White students does not justify putting on blackface. The only time you can put on blackface and have it not be offensive is if your name is Spike Lee and you’re making a satirical piece about blackness, racism and blackface. 

If you don’t know a lot about the history of blackface in America. Watch this. It’s a start.
